English Breakfast v.3
Our first breakfast tea comprised of teas from small farms; this is a rich and robust whole-leaf blend of black teas from family-run farms of less than 15 acres in India and Japan.
We re-blend this tea periodically depending on the teas we have in stock, and as we consider it the most important blend we have we spend a lot of time tasting and blending to make sure we get it right. Version 3 uses a backbone of second flush Assam from Pallab Nath for its rich, malty taste as well as Family Tea from Sahyadri Co-Op in Kerala for strength and bite, and Supernatural Black from Master Matsumoto in Japan which rounds out the flavour, giving the tea more complexity and aroma.
This is an ideal tea for everyday drinking and delicious brewed light or strong and with or without milk as preferred. Best brewed with freshly boiled water and a heaped teaspoon of leaf per cup.
