A light afternoon blend of high-grown second flush teas from small farms in Darjeeling and Sri Lanka. Aromatic with a dry, sweet taste and a refreshing fruitiness, this is a much more delicate blend than our English Breakfast and works better taken without milk than it does with.
Best brewed with boiled water that has been allowed to cool for a minute and a large teaspoon of tea per cup.

Mineral Spring was an abandoned tea estate where once there was much hardship and hunger. However several villages and their families united to sell their tea at a good price which guarantees a better future and pride in their own production. Unlike Darjeeling estates which are many hundreds of acres, the farms in Mineral Spring are on average 2 acres. Another big difference is their polyculture, Mineral Spring farmers grow oranges, peaches, taro, ginger, black cardamom, carrots, bitter gourd, squash, mustard greens, sweet potato, avocados, pomelos, carrots, corn, turmeric, beetroots, and guavas amongst other fruit and vegetables.
We blend the Mineral Spring Darjeeling with Rainforest Tea from Handunugoda Small Farms in Galle, which combines well with the Darjeeling to give a very refreshing afternoon blend.
