Master Wei’s Aromatic 100 Year Old Tie Guan Yin – Spring 2025

A greener aromatic Anxi Tie Guan Yin from a farm just 400m from the Tie Guan Yin mother trees. We have been admirers of Master Wei’s teas for several years and are so thrilled to have a small amount of her very limited production of 100 year old tree tea. She is one of the few tea makers to be recognised as a Representative Inheritor of Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea Making Technique.

This year’s Aromatic Tie Guan Yin is a little more oxidised than previous batches. The tea has fresh floral aromatics, and the liquor has a thick creamy texture which lasts through many infusions. 

Brew with freshly boiled water and a generous teaspoon per cup. It can be brewed for several infusions.
