Master Wei’s Classic 100 Year Old Tie Guan Yin – Autumn

A classic roasted Anxi Tie Guan Yin from a farm just 400m from the Tie Guan Yin mother trees. We have been admirers of Master Wei’s teas for several years and are so thrilled to have a small amount of her very limited production of 100 year old tree tea. She is one of the few tea makers to be recognised as a Representative Inheritor of Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea Making Technique.

This roasted Tie Guan Yin has delightful rounded sweet nutty flavours with a rich, dark caramel tone which lingers in one’s throat and nose.

Brew with freshly boiled water and a generous teaspoon per cup. It can be brewed for several infusions.
