Peng Family (Porcelain Gaiwans and Cups)

Showing all 18 results

For eight generations the Peng family have looked after Rong Yao Fang a heritage, imperial kiln founded during the reign of the great tea loving emperor Qianlong (1711-1799). Their porcelain from this period  is often stamped with the emperor’s seal of “Le Shan Tang”, which literally translates as Qianlong’s library. Although the location of the kiln is in Jingdezhen, the porcelain centre of China, few kilns can match the Peng family’s skills with their traditional hand thrown, hand turned and hand-painted ceramics.

We specially commission new brewers, cups and jugs from the Peng family in different shapes and designs every year. If there is a certain type of porcelain-ware you would like us to stock please let us know.
