Name and Address
A light afternoon blend of high-grown second flush teas from small farms in Darjeeling and Nepal. Aromatic with a dry, sweet taste and a refreshing fruitiness, this is a much more delicate blend than our English Breakfast and works better taken without milk than it does with.
Best brewed with boiled water that has been allowed to cool for a minute and a large teaspoon of tea per cup.

PLANTS AND PROCESSING
Blend of Camellia Sinensis Sinensis
90-95°C, 3-4g per 150mls. 2 infusions.
When the price for their cash crops of black cardamom and ginger slumped, village elder Mr Rai encouraged others to follow his lead and take their tea to the local tea factory for processing. Initially no one would follow him and he spent lonely journeys taking his heavy load of green leaf by pony to the factory. Finally others joined him and now the Subarna community produces some of the finest tea in Darjeeling.
We blend the Subarna Darjeeling with a second flush Nepali tea from the Kanchanjangha Tea Farm near Ranitar, a co-operative of 100 farmers who farm approximately two acres of land each. Its dry, fruity flavour combines well with the Darjeeling to give a very refreshing afternoon blend.
The price of all our Tea Postcards includes shipping to anywhere in the world and we guarantee that if it does not arrive within a week in the UK or 3 weeks worldwide, we will send a replacement free of charge.
